He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicasio Rodriguez and Clara Rodriguez. He is survived by: his wife Karen Caldas; his children, Obed Caldas, Jr. (Irami), Priscila Bollaci (Fred) and Mark Caldas (Ashley); his grandchildren, Rebecca, Vincent Caldas, Cassidy, Mason Bollaci, Aubrey and Addison Caldas; and his sister Margie Almeyda (Raul).
