It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Muriel Lastfogel of Carteret, New Jersey, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Lastfogel; her stepdaughter Elayne Sabella; and her stepgrandson Paul Yaszay. She is survived by: her children, Jay Gerstler (Deborah), Fred Gerstler (Carol) and Eileen Hahn; her stepdaughter Barbara Lastfogel; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Rory, Courtney, Hillary, Ryan, Jill, Sandra, Daniel and Hope; and her brother Michael Shapiro. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
