Though Marie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Marie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Shyka and John Shyka; and her husband Edward. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Julia Hosford; and her brother Edward.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM at the Chubenko Funeral Home (625 Port Reading Ave, Port Reading, NJ 07064). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph R. C. Church (7 Locust St, Carteret, NJ 07008). A burial was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Joseph R.C. Church in Marie's memory.
