She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Connolly; her son John Connolly; and her siblings, John Kennedy, Cormac Kennedy and Clare Bachman.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Richter (Samuel), Tom Connolly (Beth), Kate Dorcellus (Carmelot) and Pat Connolly (Meg); her grandchildren, Gregory Richter, Karen Munar, Matt Connolly, Caroline Connolly, Sean Dorcellus, Esme Dorcellus, Maitee Benjamin and Maell Benjamin; and her great grandchildren, Nolan Munar, Gloria Richter and Ramona Connolly.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marianne may be made to St. Joseph School, 865 Roosevelt Avenue, Carteret, NJ 07008.
