He was predeceased by: his parents, William C Jones and Lillie Jones; his daughters, Vivian, Pat, Jennifer and Evelyn Jones; and his sisters, Gladys Jones, Ernestine Batts and Lula Mae Ousley.
He is survived by: his children, Leavie D. Jones, Jr. of Carteret, Alice Jones of Piscataway and Joan Sweeney Rogers of Newark, NJ. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren and 2 brothers.
