He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kostu and Margaret Kostu; his former wife Blanche; and his siblings, Margaret Niedzwicz and Ted Kostu.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Kostu; his sons, John W. Kostu (Michelle) of Hopelawn and Luke R. Kostu of Hopelawn; his stepchildren, Marc Hudak (Francis) of Delaware and Carolyn Ellenback (Neil) of Florida; and his stepgrandchildren, Andrea, Kaitlyn, Jason, Noah and Luke.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The American Legion.
