He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony LaCagnina and Elsie LaCagnina; and his sisters, Joanne, Concetta and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Lori Lang (Dave) of Pittsburgh, PA, Susan Tasnady (George) of Toms River, Jennifer Szemcsak (Jay) of Carteret, NJ, Jaime Stragapede (Phil) of Toms River, Vincent Roccanova (Heather) of Carteret, NJ and Thomas Roccanova (Dana) of Brick, NJ; his brother Robert LaCagnina; his grandchildren, Justin, Koriann, Nicholas, Jarrod, Samantha, Zakary, Jakob, Riley, James and Rocco; and his great grandchild Mia.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
