He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Schaefer; and his son David Schaefer. He is survived by: his son Harry R. Schaefer, Jr.; his brother-in-law Dominic Lamberti; his nieces, Donna Woods and Heather McLaughlin; and his nephew Jerry Toomey.
