It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christine Sugrim of Carteret, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Stefano Sugrim; her children, Gabrielle Fiol, Caitlynn Fiol and Jacob Sugrim; her mother Milagros Marin; her grandchildren, Cayden Perrin and Caia Brady; her brothers, Enrique and Hector Cabrera; and her pets, Brody, Luna, Mamba and Drake. She is also survived by sister.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Chubenko Funeral Home (625 Port Reading Ave, Port Reading, NJ 07064). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Christine may be made to one or both of her favorite charities - American Diabetes Association or Monmouth County SPCA.
