Carol M. Knittel Obituary

We bid farewell to Carol M. Knittel of Carteret, New Jersey, born in Rahway, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 27, 2025 at the age of 82. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Knittel; and her parents, Charles Podraza and Mary Podraza. She is survived by: her children, Terry Czapik (Joseph) and Michael Knittel (Trina); and her grandchildren, Christopher, Eric, Samantha and Alexander. She is also survived by two nephews and one niece.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chubenko Funeral Home (625 Port Reading Ave, Port Reading, NJ 07064). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. An entombment was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
