Barbara Sloan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Sloan (Carteret, New Jersey), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on December 28, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Matthew Sloan; her parents, Harry McLain and Helen McLain; and her sister Marjorie Kiselyk. She is survived by: her children, Thomas Sloan (Ronald Paladino) of Naples and Scott Sloan (Donna) of Colonia; her grandchildren, Edward, Lindsay Wawrzynski, Amber, Andrew, Robert Sloan and Jaclyn Valler; her siblings, Janet Williams (Jim) of Toms River and Donald McLain (Gloria) of Sewaren; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Kiselyk of Somerset and Isabel Gasior (Moe) of Carteret. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family will appreciate a donation to the First Presbyterian Church – Memorial Fund of Carteret or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
