It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Dougherty (Carteret, New Jersey), born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on October 18, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Dougherty and Marie Dougherty. She is survived by: her children, Keith Madorma (Denise), Kim DiPaolo (Tommy) of Brick, Kelli Chitty (David) of Sea Girt and Kevin Gencsy (Julie).
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 2:00pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 3:00pm at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall, NJ 07719 In lieu of flowers the family specifically requests donations be made in her memory to either the American Cancer Society or the Wall Township Public Library, 2700 Allaire Rd., Wall, NJ 07719.
