He is survived by: his wife Darlene Lakatos; his children, Christine Lakatos (Erick Martinez) and Alexander Lakatos III; his grandchildren, Jennah, Marc Jr. of Amani, EJ, Julien and Aryana; and his brothers, Edward and Charles Lakatos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
