He was predeceased by: his father William Adams; and his pet Scooch. He is survived by: his mother Natalie "Dolly" Adams; his wife Linda; his children, Nicole, Brian and Carole (Leon Freas); his grandchildren, Brielle Lee, Gizelle Lynn, Mackenzie (Mitchell Smith) and Michelle Freas; and his brothers, Scott (Jennifer) and Marc Adams.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that donation be made to the Salem County Humane Society, PO Box 214, Carneys Point, NJ 08069.
