He was predeceased by: AnnaMay. He is survived by: his parents, Benjamin F. and Mary Coles Atkinson; his daughters, Gloria A. Basaldua and Pearl L. Robb; his siblings, Sarah McGowan, Johnny Atkinson, Margaret Adams and Barbara Messick; his grandchildren, Heather, Karla, Tisha, Jessica and Mary; his wife Edith; and also, William, Charles and Mary.

The family has suggested that in lieu of flowers donations should be sent to the church in LeRoy's memory as well.
