He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Powers and Jean Hudson Powers; and his siblings, Harry M. Powers and Joy O'lynn Hiles. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Jeff and Tonya (Christopher Yanzuk); and his grandchildren, Christopher, Jr., Tanner, Monica, Reed, Izabella, Corbin, Levi, Remington and Evangeline.

In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that donations can be made to the church in Larry's memory.
