He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Frank Piel and Elsie Cheesman Piel. He is survived by: his siblings, William G Piel (Carolyne), Florence Ann Schumann (Robert) and George R Piel (June); his nieces and nephews, Anne Marie Piel Kelleher (Martin), Daniel W Piel (Sara), Andrea M Piel, David J Piel and Melissa A Piel; and his close friend Baby. He is also survived by pet lover and owner of many cats, he leaves behind his cat.
