Chapman of Carneys Point, New Jersey, born in Hartford, West Virginia, who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Chapman and Lena Chapman (Thiess); his son Douglas Chapman (Ruthann); and his siblings, Nondas Hendricks, Alberta Wagner and Samuel Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Lourdes Chapman (Juarez); his children, Michael Chapman of Pilesgrove, NJ, Kimberly Hogate (Jerry) of New Castle and Christopher Chapman of Middletown; his stepdaughters, Rachael Chapman of Pennsville, NJ, Leah Ortiz (Jose) of Carneys Point, NJ and Mirsha Lape (William) of Carneys Point, NJ; his siblings, Ellen Goett, Peggy Droddy, Wayne Chapman, Mary Gygax and Joseph Chapman; and his grandchildren, Kenneth Chapman, Aubrey Chapman, Michele Jackson, Jerry Hogate II, Amanda Copper, Kristy Daye, Katie Chapman, Nicole Ortiz, Kevin Retama, Ariana Lape and Andrew Lape. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
