It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don Allen Sharer of Carneys Point, New Jersey, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on September 13, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Allen Sharer of Carney's Point and Frances Dixon Sharer Smith; his brother Rob Jeffery Sharer; and his stepfather John Warburton Smith. He is survived by: his wife Judith K. Sharer of Mansfield Texas; his children, Jeffery Allen Sharer of Virginia Beach, VA. and Jennifer Sharer Knight (John Knight) of Chesapeake Va; and his grandfather Don. He is also survived by 5 grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, or in conjunction with flowers, perhaps donations to specialops.org which is a foundation founded by the family members of those lost during Operation Eagle Claw.
