He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Reinknecht (Stohrer) and Fred Reinknecht; his niece Susan LaForgia; his siblings, Fred Reinknecht and Shirley (Reinknecht); his brother-in-law Eugene "Oggie" LaForgia; and his nephew Joey LaForgia.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael (Wendy) and David (Cindy); his brothers, Celanese Corporation and McDonnell-Douglas; his wife Carole (Kot); his children, Christopher and Casey; his brother James (Pat) of Maryland; and his friend Bill W.. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews.
