He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent America; his wife Flora Amato; his children, John Amato (Yolanda), Mary Ann Rodriguez (Julio) and Matthew Amato; his grandchildren, John, Jolie Amato, Julio, Michael Rodriguez, Makayla and Madison Amato; and his siblings, Giovanni, Anna, Lena, Antonia and Salvatore.
Donations can be made in Michael's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
