He was predeceased by: his son-in-law William James Nicholas, III; his grandson-in-law John Mark; and his siblings, Daniel Patti (Maria), Leonard, Emanuel, Dania, Olive Milowic and Elizabeth "Betty" Figlar.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his daughter Gail Patti Nicholas of Basking Ridge; his granddaughter Lauren Nicholas of Northampton, PA; and his sisters, Marie Dekker of Toms River and Rose Van Ostenbridge of Toms River.
