She was predeceased by: her husband Charles W. Sheets; and her siblings, Edith, Beatrice, Edward, Walter and Carol.

She is survived by: her daughter Mercedes Moffa; her son-in-law Robert Moffa; her granddaughters, Lana Stebbins (Gavin), Nicole Macri (Jeffrey) and Mary Moffa; and her great grandchildren, Arien, Ryan Stebbins, Aleesia, Nicholas Macri, Robert Bradburn, David and Marsia Crumbly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Soroptimist International of Cape May County are suggested or contributions towards a commemorative brick through the "Cape May Lighthouse Brick Paver Program" to be displayed at Cape May Point Lighthouse in honor of Mary.
