He was predeceased by: his mother Lillian Mason Phillips (Hughes); his siblings, Gene Mason and Barbara Mason; and his half-brother Robert Phillips, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Brunner (Mason) and Mark Scott Mason, Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Cheryl Mason, Tabetha Bailey (Mason), Allen Mason and Neil Russel Mason; and also Christy Harris.
