She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Cooney and Marion Cooney (Sadie); her son William; her husband Charles W. Sandman, Jr.; her siblings, Helen, John and Bill Cooney; her grandson Michael; and her nephews, Dr. John Ansel and Bobby Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Wade (Steve), Betsy Way (John), Robert (Susan), Charles III (Kimberly) and Richard (Maureen).
