He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Lukens and Frances Lukens (Fassnacht); his wife Cecelia "Judy" J. (Gouran); his brother Richard F. Lukens; and his nephew Richard F. Lukens, Jr..
He is survived by: his brother William E. "Bill" Lukens (Frances); his nieces and nephews, Cary, Gideon and Abigail; his sister-in-law Patricia Lukens; and his niece Donna. He is also survived by 11 grandnephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church (525 Washington St, Cape May, NJ 08204). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Karl's memory may be made to the Cape May Bird Observatory, 701 East Lake Road, Cape May Point NJ 08212.
