In the sacred silence of farewell, Joseph is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joseph's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Dougherty and Catherine Dougherty (Doyle); his siblings, Anna, Margaret, Mary, Samuel and James Dougherty (Doc); and his grandson Joseph, III.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; and his sons, Joe, Jr. (Debra), Jim (Susan), Jeff (Cindy) and John Daily (Peg). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
