He was predeceased by: his wife Marie; his son Joey; and his brothers, Robert Barreras and Charles Barreras. He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Szigeti (Jim) and Christine Feeney (John); his grandchildren, Jimmy Szigeti, Michael Szigeti (Morelia), Sean Feeney, Casey Feeney and Chelsea Barreras; his great grandchild Nicholas Szigeti; and his sister Margarita Barreras-Glemser. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Evoy Funeral Homes, Inc. (3218 Bayshore Rd, Cape May, NJ 08204). A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint John of God R. C. Church (680 Town Bank Rd, Cape May, NJ 08204).
