She was predeceased by: her son Thomas M. McDermond; and her siblings, John P., James, Agnes Broccolini and Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, William McDermond (Kathleen), John McDermond, James McDermond (Diane), Catherine Franchetti (Michael), Sharon Cannon and Maureen Rose (James "Ted"). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
