He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Halbruner and Floyd Halbruner; his son Ronnie; and his siblings, Jean Matthews, Floyd Halbruner, Jr. and Bruce Halbruner.
He is survived by: his wife Janis; his children, Melvin "Buddy" (Sue Ann), Linda (Paula) and Mark (Sandra); his siblings, Gloria and Robert; his grandchildren, Andrew (Jen), Sarah (Donny), Stephen and Lauren; his great grandchildren, Ryder, Finley, Kai and Gia; and his nephew Brian Matthews (Lorraine).
