He was predeceased by: his daughter Vicky Cushman; and his sister Vashti McCormick. He is survived by: his children, Amy Cushman and Art Cushman, II; his grandchildren, Austin Cushman and Annestasia Cushman-Pasco (Tanner); his sisters, Pat Jolly, Nancy Eichorn and Jo Ann Gordon; and his pet Ruff.
