He was predeceased by: his parents, George Y. Young and Laura Young; and his siblings, Abigail Henry, Clara Henry, Walter Young, Azzaline Dutch, Lois Mislin, Elwood Young, Elizabeth Blake, Harry Young and Edward Young.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Young; his children, Laura Jeanne Deane (Michael) and Ryan Young (Heather); his grandchildren, Abigail, Christian, Aidan Deane and William Young; and his sister Gertrude Hickman.
