He was predeceased by: his parents, Burden McCoy and Lovie McCoy; his siblings, Margaret McCoy, Alinda Foote Alston, Marvin McCoy, Wallace McCoy, Derek McCoy, Dixon McCoy and Donald McCoy; his nephew Wilbur D. McCoy, Jr.; his daughters, Faye Yvette Wilson, Fern Odette Wilson-Ram and Pam Ferguson; and his former wife Eva Mae Patterson McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy McCoy; his children, Lanyard Staley, Victor Darnell McCoy, Charles McCoy Tonya McCoy (Ella), Karen McCoy, Darren D'Anthony McCoy (Tony), Lekisha Powell-Brooks, T. J. McCoy (Stevi) and Megan McCoy; his siblings, Stephen McCoy (Stephanie), Bernard McCoy, Anita Anderson, Yvonne Wingfield, Sheila Grisard (Bert), Brenda Hunter (Al), Jerrie Dean, Paula McCoy and Paulette Spencer (George); and his stepsister Lily Henderson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends. And most of all his extended family.
