He was predeceased by: his brother Albert; his wife Elsie; and his daughter Carol Martin (Bill). He is survived by: his children, Jean Lizzio (Dominic), Joan Peterson (late Robert) and Walter Jr. (Debbie); his grandchildren, Jennifer Ettore (Justin), Jeffrey Lizzio, Dominic P. Lizzio, Albert Ribeiro (Jenielle), Camille DiGiuseppe and Walter Ribeiro III; his great grandchildren, Cooper Ettore, Bodhi Ettore and Annamarie DiGiuseppe; and also, Linda Terres (Bob) and Anita Sorrentino (Mark). He is also survived by other numerous nieces and nephews.
