He is survived by: his spouse Marisol; his son Virgilio Vargas, Jr.; his grandchildren, Josiah and Jethro Vargas; his mother Blanca Gonzalez; and his siblings, Julio, Sonia, Gerson "Lolo", Madeline, Lucy, Marisol, Edar and Argenis. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
