She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Geraldo Zayas; her children, Benjamin Cortez, Alexander Cortez (Kathy), Angel Rodriguez and Edwin Cortez Jr. (Christina); her grandchildren, Edwin J., Optamara, Jewelianna, Alex, Jovanny, Joel, Gabriel, Christian, Benjamin, Destiny, Aiden, Kathy, Deyanira, Yamil, Yanuel, Victoria, Angel Jr., James and Ashley; her great grandchild Cory; and her siblings, Junior, Hector, Heidi, Nancy, Elsie Reyes, Manny, Nieda, Mari and Robert Rodriguez.
