She is survived by: her mother Monica Moorman-Hawkins; her great-great-grandparent Daisy Beatty; her uncle Carl; her grandparents, Lula Mae Hawkins, Ruben Hawkins and Howard Lloyd; her great-grandparent James "Boot" Covington; her great-uncle Robert "Bobby" Covington, Sr.; her uncle Lamont Hawkins; her great-grandparents, Virginia Lloyd and Mary Lou Beatty Covington; her sisters, Indya, Asya and Alexis; her grandparents, Brenda Coffield, Carl Moorman and Geneva Lloyd; her sister Markeya Lloyd-McAdams; her niece Lyric; and her nephews, Nero and Shine. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Although the pandemic brought a halt to both of those businesses, that still did not quench Shanique's passion for being her own boss.
