We are sad to announce that on August 14, 2022, at the age of 82, Rita Elvira Vandergrift of Camden, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Gedling and Elvira Gedling (Gee); her husband Joseph Vandergrift; and her siblings, Robert Gedling and Jean Castellano.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Jr., Rita M. and Belin Vandergrift; her daughter-in-law Kim Vandergrift; and her siblings, Barbara Arena, Harry Gedling and Kenny Gedling. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, as well as, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
