He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bobby, Thomas "Tippy", George, David and Marie.

He is survived by: his fiancée Sandra Young; his children, Dawn Gariano, Samantha Massie and Christopher Massie; his siblings, Sarah, Jim, Bill, Emma, Grace, John, Chuck, Joe and Mike; and also Beverly Powell. He is also survived by in-laws, as well as many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
