Melanie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her grandchildren, Jessica, Angel and Jordan; and her brothers, Harry and Arnold.
She is survived by: her son Anthony "Tony" (Angela); her husband John Sr.; her children, John II, JaMel and Jade; her grandchildren, Theodore, Kylie, Essence, Mataya, Gabrielle, Olivia, Aaron, Christopher, Spencer, Zander and Lela; her great grandchildren, Ambromitis, Lalalyn, Harper, Taisley, Athena and Huntley; her sister Lee Shanna Hunley Letcher (Paul); her nieces and nephews, Kiara and Kaleah; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Sloane, Pierce, Penn, Hunley, Tralles and Lenora.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Marks United Methodist Church (8550 Pioneers Blvd, Lincoln, NE 68520).
