She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Maribel Serrano, Wilson Serrano, Carlos Serrano, Carmelo Serrano, Mayda Gonzalez (Edwin), Alexander Serrano (Alma), Julio A. Serrano, Jinette Serrano and Yamil Serrano; and her siblings, Ita, Efraim, Tenita, Carmen, Ana, Rosa, Victor, Hector, Virgin, Mercedes, Luis, Ito and Miguel. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
