He was predeceased by: his parents, Ike Jackson Jr. and Christine Phillips Jackson. He is survived by: his siblings, Susie, Alfred, Gerald, Alexander and Calvin; his mother-in-law Betty Moore of East Gadsden; his children, Sharma Jackson Van Norton, Kimberly Jackson Davis and James I. Jackson Jr. (Eileen); his grandsons, Matthew A. Van Norton of Washington, D. C., James I. Jackson, III (Anna) and Daniel R. Van Norton; his great grandchildren, Isaac and Kanaan Jackson; his sisters, Joyce Scott and Maria Scott (Daniel); and his sisters-in-law, Myrtle Lynch, Georgia and Virginia Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.
