She was predeceased by: her parents, Kathleen Thomas and Charles Thomas; her husband Emanuel Ferguson; her children, Emily and Emanuel; and her sister Alice Chavis.
She is survived by: her children, Ella Fisher, Kathleen Little (Melvin), Bernice, Frederick, Sylvester, Keith and LaQuinta Law; her siblings, Emma Lee Woodyard (late Elmer), Jacob Fisher (late Mary), Donald and William (Paula); and her close friend Frederick Simpson. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and in-laws.
