He is survived by: his children, Carmen Mercado, Miguel Mercado and Madelyn Mercado; and his siblings, Felicita Negron, Andrea Lopez, Francisca Martinez, Teresa Martinez, Laura Martinez, Guillermo Martinez, Tomas Martinez Jr., Emenehildo Martinez and Manuel Martinez. He is also survived by 11 loving nieces and 9 nephews.
