He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Bogan (Hearns) and Charles G. Bogan; his brother Charles Jr.; and his niece Cathy Bogan. He is survived by: his wife Judith Bogan (Loper); his children, Cynthia Rupprecht (Andrew), James Jr. (Rebecca), Barbara Conner (Gary) and Erin Brogan (Michael); his grandchildren, Shane Bogan, Kaylie Brogan, Haley Coner, Heather Bogan, Katherine Rupprecht, Colin Brogan and Pop-Pop; and his siblings, Jeanne Harvey and Jack Bogan (Louise). He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
