He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cogan and Rose Cogan; his sisters, Ellen Weinschenk and Florence McCabe; and his son Michael Cogan.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Cogan; his children, Carol Piccoli (Darren Piccoli), Beth Knoble (John Knoble), Drury Thorp (Ted Papoulas), Kelly Cogan and Matthew Reid; and his grandchildren, Taylor Knoble, Steven Knoble, Addy Reid, Sam Reid, Sally Papoulas, Tess Papoulas and Cassie Jo Cogan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home (76 Park St, Montclair, NJ 07042). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Presbyterian Church (46 Park St, Montclair, NJ 07042).
