She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe Bonessi and Katharine Bonessi. She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Bonessi; her husband Ross Nathan; and her nieces, Valerie Scott, Kathleen McVeigh and Patty Riedinger.
Ironically, it was a combination of COVID and heart failure that would steal her last breath. The absurdity of having swam out the height of the storm for 4 years only to contract COVID in the hospital was not lost on her; it seemed surreal and ended up being insurmountable.
