He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelina Ponzio and Mario Ponzio. He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his son Joseph (Maria); his grandsons, Joe Jr. (Lauren) and Jared (Cristina Campisi); and his great grandchildren, Lexi and Lucas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to one of the many hospitals and organizations that helped his beloved granddaughter Lexi overcome cancer, including Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital, The Make-A-Wish Foundation and Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.
