He was predeceased by: his wife Frances M. Peterson (Bartolotta); and his brothers, Herbert Peterson (Dolores) and Joseph Peterson. He is survived by: his brother Howard Peterson (Betty); and his siblings-in-law, John Bartolotta (Amy) and Patricia Peterson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends.
