He was predeceased by: his wife Jane H. Kovanic. He is survived by: his children, Kathryn J. Kannenberg (Andrew) of Minnetonka and Kenneth E. Kovan (Christine) of Wayne; and his grandsons, Dr. Steven A. Kannenberg, Mathew P. Kovan and Henry E. Kovan.
